FIELD: radio engineering; very-high-frequency antenna arrays for communication systems, radars, and radio control. SUBSTANCE: antenna has strip-type insulating base with deposited-metal layers holding n-output excitation system and associated radiating aperture made of n horn radiators arranged at several elevations. Each output of excitation system gradually turns into horn radiator of array in plane E; envelopes of horn radiators are made of flexible conducting material; excitation system is mounted on case support and mechanically joined with the latter ; aperture support is made of insulating material and placed on array aperture generating line; envelopes of horn radiators are mechanically joined through their loose ends with aperture support and are held in tension; all horn radiators are electrically interconnected to form integrated spatial structure of antenna array. Proposed antenna array ensures effective directive radiation in very-high-frequency band and improved matching (reduced voltage standing wave ratio).
