FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the prepared asporogenic strain B. anthracis with low activity of proteolytic enzymes and absence of resistance to antibiotics that can be used as a base in construction of producers of anthrax antigens and other biologically active substances. The strain retains properties in storage, culturing on nutrient media and in passages in laboratory animals body. Asporogenicity of the strain gives advantage in further use of producers of anthrax antigens and other biologically active substances constructed on its base since the possibility of seeding working compartments, laboratory and industrial equipments with pathogen spores of anthrax is absent. The strain shows low activity of proteolytic enzymes destructing protein preparations in stages of their isolation and purification that provides optimal yield of protein anthrax antigens and excludes necessity of use of protease inhibitors. The strain exhibits the absence of resistance to antibiotics that can be important in genetic construction and the following use of asporogenic strains of B. anthracis. EFFECT: strain indicated above, valuable properties. 3 ex
