SUBSTANCE: the horizontal band sawing machine has a fixed frame carrying a movable carriage with a saw, and chain-type drive tilting mechanisms and mechanisms for removal of sawn-off log sections mounted below the level of the location surface. These mechanisms are kinematically linked, the mechanisms for removal of log sections are provided with a drive of curvilinear motion in the vertical plane. The drive is made in the form of two double-arm rotary levers hinge-joined to the mechanism, mounted on the machine frame and engageable with the aid of a link with a built-in regulator of its length.
