FIELD: sawmill industry. SUBSTANCE: machine-tool has a frame on wheels, a saw shaft with a saw and a drive, two carriages 14 and 15 connected with the drive and desk 18. The mechanism of the machine-tool basing is made in the shape of hinged parallelogram 19 connected with drive 20. Connecting rod 21 of parallelogram 19 has the shape of a ruler located over the carriages and is connected with drive 24. Levers 26 are fastened on the connecting rod with hinges 25. A shaft with handle 38 and stop 39 which can emerge in the intermediate space between the carriages, over them, is mounted on the frame in the bearing supports. The machine-tool ensures the sawing of logs into boards, bars and skids. The sawing is exercised over the log taper. EFFECT: improved quality of the lumber, high accuracy of the lumber sizes achieved by the basing mechanism. 6 dwg
