FIELD: electrified transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is designed for measuring height and stagger of contact wire relative to rail head from running vehicle. Device is installed in vehicle before inclined windshield so that optical axis of optical system is square to contact wire and size of windshield and angle of its inclination are so that contact wire is within the limits of field of view of optical system in any position. Device includes additionally contact wire height calculation unit, to correct error in stagger measuring depending on height of contact wire, large left-hand and ring-hand mirrors and small left-hand and right-hand mirrors. Large mirrors are installed symmetrically relative to optical axis of objective lens at base distance from each other to provided required accuracy of measurement of contact wire height and at angles providing reflection of optical rays of contact wire to small mirrors in area of possible positions of contact wire. Small mirrors are installed before lens so that first part of lens field of view remains free for direct passage of rays from contact wire through lens to first matrix photodetector installed to keep image of contact wire in any position within the limits of first matrix photodetector. Small right-hand and left-hand mirrors occupy, respectively, second and third areas of lens field of view being installed crosswise relative to each other and symmetrically relative to optical axis of lens at such angles that contact wire rays passing from large left-hand mirror to small left-hand mirror and from large-hand mirror to small left-hand mirror reflect from small left-hand and right-hand mirrors and get on second and third matrix photodetectors, respectively, and at any possible positions of contact wire are confined to limits of borders of matrix photodetectors. Output of first matrix photodetector is connected with input of first unit measuring position of contact wire image. Output of contact wire position measuring unit is connected with first input of contact wire stagger measurement correction unit whose output is connected to contact wire stagger recorder. Output of second matrix photodetector and output of third matrix photodetector are connected with inputs of second and third units measuring position of contact wire image on photodetectors, respectively, and outputs of these units are connected with first and second inputs of contact wire height measuring unit whose output is connected with contact wire height recorder and with second input of contact wire stagger correction unit. EFFECT: reduced overall dimension, simplified design of optical device measuring height and stagger of contact wire relative to rail head from running vehicle. 2 dwg
