FIELD: agriculture, pest control. SUBSTANCE: laser radiation of W power and aperture of S area is directed upon the part of flock's visible contour. The former should be fixed upon the selected part for the period of Δτi, during which all flock's individuals, being in laser radiation aperture, have got a destroying dose of radiation q. Moreover, Δτi= (q/W)•S. Then scanning is conducted by replacing radiation upon another part of flock's visible contour, moreover, the whole scanning time is determined by the ratio, τ = (F/S)•Δτi, where F - the area of flock's visible contour. To eliminate the flock at individuals' amount N and individuals' density n, laser radiation power is measured by the ratio: where k=1-2.5 being the index of flock's shape. The method could be performed due to applying laser complex supplied with guidance systems and those of radiation scanning placed upon any transport vehicle. Laser complex could include chemical and CO2-lasers, CO-lasers of open and closed types working at continuous or impulse-periodic modes. At scanning flock's visible contour by laser radiation it is necessary to direct it upon parts of the highest individuals' gathering to shorten the terms of flock's elimination.
