FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Device for destruction of locusts is metal frame. Frame has at least three rotating shafts. Pieces of line are placed on each shaft along diameter at equal distance. To attract locusts ultraviolet radiation sources are used. Radiation sources are arranged along upper side of metal frame. Insects are killed by rotating line and fall into tray. Efficient destruction of locusts on large area.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling non-flying offspring of locusts and possibility of recycling killed insects for use as fodder.
