FIELD: production of fireproof structural materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to production of highly condensed ammonium polyphosphate used as fire proofing compound in fireproof swelling coatings. Plant has separate hoppers with metering devices for solid reagents installed in tandem and connected to each other, mixer ball mill, heated rotary reactor with reaction product melting, crystallization and dehydration zones furnished with charge and discharge augers of reagents mixture and reaction products, mill-separator-cooler, pipeline for pneumatic transportation of ammonium polyphosphate, cyclone for separation of ammonium polyphosphate, conveyor furnished with metering device for delivering part of separated ammonium polyphosphate into mixer before charge auger of reactor. Reactor has special device for building vacuum in re action zones. Stationary electromagnetic inductors installed coaxially around reactor housing are used as reactor heaters.
