FIELD: processing mineral and solid organic compound containing raw material such as coal, wood, turf by pyrolysis for extraction of hydrocarbons, possibly in chemical, wood chemical industry branches, in heat and power engineering and so on.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of high-speed heating of initial raw material and simultaneously disintegrating raw material in ball type drum mill half-filled with heated beaters made of material with high heat conduction factor to be agitated with them. Disintegrated raw material is instantly heated by said beaters in drum of mill and it causes instant destruction of raw material and production of new matters. Installation for performing the method includes reactor with stationary drum and agitating blades rotating relative to drum. Frame type blades provide movement of balls with initial raw material only in lower part of reactor at minimum energy consumed only for shifting said balls into upper layers. Separate units used for firing solid mineral product and for heating initial raw material and also closed circulation system for feeding heat transfer agent provide more effective and complete usage of heat of combustion products in separate burners during stage of extraction of hydrocarbon from initial raw material.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and operational reliability of installation, improved effectiveness of hydrocarbon extraction process from mineral and solid raw material by pyrolysis.
