FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of high-pressure cylinders and bottles. SUBSTANCE: in process of manufacturing of high-pressure cylinder, tubular housing is formed. Then neck is made in which shaped bottom is fitted and joint is sealed by girth weld. In process forming upper neck, bushing is secured by press-fitting of pins and joints are sealed by girth welds. EFFECT: reduced requirements to accuracy of cylinder part sizes, reduced number of operations in process of manufacture and processing equipment required. 3 cl, 12 dwg
