FIELD: manufacture of high-pressure bottles for protracted storage and transportation of liquefied gases.

SUBSTANCE: proposed bottle has body made in form of tube with cover welded to its upper portion and high-rigidity bottom in its lower portion. Ends of tube projecting beyond cover and bottom have form of separate segments for contact with outer end face of cover and bottom; contact of radially formed ends of tube with end face of cover and bottom is intermittent. Method of manufacture of bottle includes locating and securing the cover and bottom and sealing the joints; first, cover and bottom are secured by intermittent welds and then intermittent forming of ends of tube projecting beyond cover and bottom is performed, after which joints are sealed by applying fillet welds and overlap welds.
