FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing by cutting under pressure. High pressure container is ensured with high reliability and simple structure owing to its manufacture from single-piece sheet work piece. The high pressure container consists of a body with throat and bottom being made as a single piece. The bottom's thickness is equal to the thickness of the initial work piece, while container body and throat thickness is less than work piece thickness. The method of high-pressure container manufacture includes blanking operation, pressurised processing and cutting operations. After that, the heated work piece is subject to multi-stage rotation drawing. At the next stage, the side cylindrical part of the body is brought to the initial thickness and outer inner diametre applying rotary broaching method. After that, part of the open cylindrical section is removed and edge is shaped appropriately. Then, upper part of the body with throat is made by using rotary turning method. Finally this part is threaded to fix isolating valves.
EFFECT: invention may be used for manufacturing high pressure containers intended for long-term compressed and liquefied gases storage and transportation, mainly for carbon dioxide fire extinguishers.
