METHOD OF PRODUCING MULTILAYER INSULATING MATERIAL WITH WIDE RANGE OF PROTECTIVE PROPERTIES AND HIGH INTERLAYER ADHESION Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC B32B25/10 A62B17/00 C09D123/34

Abstract RU 2836667 C1

FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a multilayer insulating material having a wide range of protective properties and high interlayer adhesion for making universal multifunctional protective clothing. Method consists in modification of insulating material, which is a material with layers based on butyl rubber (BR) or BR with triple ethylene-propylene synthetic rubber (TEPSR) applied on both sides, respectively, by applying on the front side of one of these layers a first polymer composition based on chlorosulphonated polyethylene (CSPE) and polychloroprene rubber (PCP) in a weight ratio of 75-85:15-25, with subsequent application on it to form an outer layer of a second polymer composition based on CSPE and PCP in weight ratio of 75-85:15-25, which includes aluminium powder, and further vulcanisation in an autoclave at temperature of 130-140 °C, wherein the first polymer composition is characterized by formulation 1, the second polymer composition by formulation 2. Formulations 1 and 2 are prepared in two electric glue mixers, and application of the first polymer composition of formulation 1 is applied without degreasing the base material.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a multilayer insulating material with a wide range of protective properties and high interlayer adhesion from liquid phase, vapours and gases of toxic, aggressive, oxidising chemicals, oil products, exposure to an open flame and heat flows, which is more resistant to abrasion, and simplifies the process of obtaining said material.
