FIELD: manufacture of small arms cartridges, in particular, disassembly of the cartridge. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in separation of the bullet and cartridge case as a result of deformation of the cartridge case due to creation of a bending moment relative to the bullet and application of mechanical load. Deformation of the cartridge case is accomplished by turning of the bullet in the plane of the cartridge case axis with the corner from the cartridge case tip to the cartridge case base by mechanical loading with provision of destruction of the cartridge case wall. EFFECT: simplified separation of the bullet and cartridge case, which enhances the safety of the "disassembly of cartridge" operation, provides for extraction of the bullet from the cartridge case without any damages, which makes it possible to use the bullet and poured out powder once again. 9 dwg
