FIELD: preparation of calibrated mixtures of gas- vapor agents. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in passing gas through space of reservoir free of liquid and changing concentration of vapor is gas due to change in gas flow rate; agent is placed in reservoir in form of solution; concentration of vapor of agent is changed through change of concentration of agent in solution. Device for realization of this method has reservoir for saturation of gas with vapor of agent; reservoir has cover and lines for delivery and discharge of gas; device is also provided with gas-vapor mixture diluting unit and flow activator; gas-vapor diluting unit is made in form of T-piece fitted on cover of reservoir; one passage of T-piece is communicated with atmosphere and is provided with adjustable pneumonic resistor; second passage of T- piece is introduced into space of reservoir free of liquid and third passage of T-piece is communicated with gas line for supply of gas-vapor mixture from reservoir.
