FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: laser has discharge chamber accommodating gas-permeable electrodes connected to master pump and cavity whose optical axis is perpendicular to gas flow and to electric field. Electrodes are connected to additional dc voltage supply that builds up corona discharger. Electrodes may be made of open porous-structure material and may be provided with through channels brought out to their effective surfaces. Proportion of channel dimensions is as follows: h ≪ φ ≪ d, where h is channel-to-channel wall thickness, mm; φ is cross-sectional area of channel, mm; d is electrode-to-electrode distance, mm.
