FIELD: sterilization methods and facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of sterilization of closed container 1 which has flat inner layers and is ready for filling in. Container is made in form of two packing halves made of the same laminated packing material. First half of container is even, and second half of container is provided with at least one projecting member from outside. According to proposed method, two halves of container are pressed together to make inner layers completely engage with each other and then inner layers and space between layers are sterilized by electronic irradiation of outer side of first half of container, for instance, on conveyor 15 by making completely compressed containers 1 move under electron gun 17 acting through port 18 onto each container from outer side. Proposed method makes it possible to obtain filled up package without aftertaste of products of reaction of ozone with inner wall of packing material. Ventilation of container is not necessary which brings to minimum risk of repeated contamination, and use of "aceptic" completely sterilized room for filling the packages is not required also.
