FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: synthesis of low-molecular cis-1,4-polybutadiene is performed by polymerization of butadiene-1,3 in medium of inert hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of catalyst consisting of hydrocarbon-soluble compounds of nickel, alkylaluminium chloride and compound as a donor of electrons. Hydrocarbon C4-fraction consisting of butene-1 and butene-2, isobutylene and butadiene-1,3 is used as monomer. Content of butadiene-1,3 is in the range from 30 to 80 wt.-%. Polymerization is carried out at concentration of monomer in toluene in the range from 30 to 95 wt.-%. Invention ensures to synthesize low-molecular cis-1,4-polybutadiene with required properties. Invention can be used in industry of synthetic rubber and the end product is used for plasticization of elastomers, in paint and varnish industry, for protective covers making.
