FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely construction of tuyeres for blowing metal melt by oxygen in converters. SUBSTANCE: tuyere includes concentrically arranged tubes forming circuits for feeding blowing agent, for supplying and removing cooling water; nozzle secured to tubes by means of adaptors and having inclined blowing jets and circulation cooling chamber formed by inner and outer plates. Said plates are provided with tie rod and dividing member arranged between them. In zone of arranging blowing jets nozzle has doubled walls; outer wall is in the form of outer plate and inner wall is in the form of dividing member. Circuit for supplying cooling water is joined with circulation chamber by means of branch pipes. Inlet portions of branch pipes are secured to dead adaptor of circuit for feeding cooling water; outlet portions are secured to inner disc plate. Blowing jets are mounted with minimum gap relative to vertical portion of inner wall. Circuit for feeding cooling water may be connected with circulation chamber by means of radial branch pipes. The last have inlet portions secured to dead adaptor of circuit for feeding cooling water and outlet portions secured to receptacle in the form of circular cylinder with outlet openings. Inner plate is mounted in central portion on receptacle arranged on tie rod secured by means of cross piece to end portion of tube of circuit for feeding blowing agent. Tuyere may be additionally provided with powder material feed circuit in the form of central tube. In such case tie rod is mounted in central tube and it has axial duct joined with circuit for feeding powder material. Branch pipes for joining circulation cooling chamber with circuit for feeding cooling water may be bent in such a way that their outlets are oriented towards peripheral zone of circulation cooling chamber. The last may be also provided with baffle (secured to tie rod) for streams of cooling water. In gap between vertical portion of inner wall and blowing jets may be additionally mounted unit providing forced circulation of cooling water; said unit is in the form of ejector pipes joining cavity of circulation cooling chamber with circuit for removing cooling water. Tie rod may have axial duct joined with circuit for feeding blowing agent. Outlet portion of axial duct of tie rod may be in the form of jet.
