FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ferric metallurgy, particularly steelmaking. The vortex tuyere has concentric pipes which form channels for feeding blowing reagent, inlet and outlet of cooling water, and a double-wall nozzle fitted on the pipes through sockets, where the nozzle has slanting nozzle passages whose axes lie in a plane parallel to the central axis of the tuyere. The double-wall nozzle is fitted with a flow cooling chamber formed by an outer plate and an inner divider plate. The flow cooling chamber lies inside the outer plate and has a central and annular peripheral cavity joined to each other by flow channels, having the shape of gutters running between the nozzle passages. The inner divider plate is fitted on the outer plate with overlapping of flow channels in its top.
EFFECT: invention increases reliability and longevity of the tuyere, design of an optimum cooling system.
