FIELD: mechanical engineering; liquid handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for pressure displacement of liquid working medium. Proposed rotary pump has stator consisting of idle and two side housings with bores accommodating the shaft mounted in bearings, and rotor made in form of disk rigidly secured on hub mounted on shaft for displacement along shaft axis and receiving torque from shaft. Rotary pump uses for its operation variable volumes formed in spaces formed by profiles of rotor and stator at simultaneous rotation and reciprocation of rotor made in form of disk whose end face surfaces are two curvilinear surfaces located between two fixed working surfaces of side housing. EFFECT: increased capacity of pump, reduced consumption of materials owing to reduction of overall dimensions. 3 cl, 8 dwg
