FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining venous blood at the first, second, third, fifth, seventh and tenth day after trauma. Apo-A1 and Apo-B concentration is determined in blood serum. The value of Apo-A1= 0.90- 2.20 g/l, Apo-B = 0.55-1.25 g/l being observed, patient health state is considered to be compensated. The value of Apo-A1=0.70-0.89 g/l, Apo-B > 1.26 g/l being observed, patient health state is considered to be subcompensated. The value of Apo-A1 < 0.70 g/l, Apo-B < 0.55 g/l being observed, patient health state is considered to be decompensated. EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis. 3 tbl
