FIELD: ultrasonic cleaning of polluted surfaces in various industries. SUBSTANCE: device has process bath, ultrasonic piezoelectric transducers, and parasitic flexural vibration damper. Surfaces of transducer radiators and of damper are rigidly joined with lower surface of bath bottom. Parasitic flexural vibration damper is built of heavy steel rings. Inner surface of rings is made in the form of gear whose teeth and slots are shaped as isosceles trapeziums whose lateral sides protruding to center form equal spatial angles λ/4, where λ - is flexural wave length in bath bottom material. Rings are concentrically arranged about radiators of respective transducers at certain clearance from them. Transducers are adequately isolated and parasitic flexural vibrations are effectively damped. EFFECT: improved uniformity of acoustic field distribution inside bath; simplified design. 2 dwg
