FIELD: siccative production; applicable in paint and varnish industry. SUBSTANCE: siccative is produced by saponification of carboxylic acids with mixture of 5-10% aqueous solution of alkali and sulfurous-alkali sewage of ethylene production by pyrolysis of hydrocarbon material taken in ratio of (1-3.5): (0.5-3). Produced solution is treated with aqueous solution of salt of siccative metal in presence of hydrocarbon solvent.
