FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: carding machine has sequentially arranged fiber feeding unit, preliminary combing drum, transfer roll, main drum with several pairs of operating and detachable rolls, randomizing drum, two detachable drums arranged one above another, two accumulating-randomizing drums, and fabric discharge roll unit. All drums and rolls are encompassed with saw-type card clothing. Randomizing drum is adapted for cooperation with main drum and two detachable drums and is capable of rotating in the same direction as main drum at linear speed equal to or exceeding linear speed of main drum. Detachable drums are capable of rotating in direction opposite that of randomizing drum. Accumulating-randomizing rolls are cooperating with respective detachable drums and capable of rotating at linear speed less than linear speed of detachable drums in direction opposite to that of detachable drums. To manufacture fabric with increased randomizing extent, surface density and bulking, diameter of each accumulating- randomizing roll exceeds diameter of related detachable drum by 1.85 times, and diameter of randomizing drum exceeds diameter of each detachable drum by 2.2 times.
