FIELD: mining; applicable in bolting of mine workings in laminated rocks under conditions of intensive horizontal displacement of layers. SUBSTANCE: anchor has metal cylindrical rod with screw thread in head part secured in borehole, in nondisturbed rock layer, and shank with supporting plate and tension nut. Borehole is two stage, with diameter of lower stage exceeding anchor diameter by a factor of, at least, 2. Length of anchor shank equals that of lower stage of borehole. Design of anchor allows increase of stability of bolted rocks of roof, reliability of working support and safety in work under conditions of intensive horizontal displacement of rock layers and opening of layer fractures on rock boundaries.
