METHOD OF INRUSH SPACE SUPPORT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in supporting of inrush cavities between canopy of powered supporting and line of breakage face with insecure fractured rocks occurring above mined bed. SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of roofing under inrush space, laying of soft shells on roofing and filling of space between powered support canopy and breakage face line. Installed in places of formed inrush space in interunit spaces of powered support are individual props with box-type roofing accommodating soft shell into which compressed air is supplied to fill inrush space with inflated shell. Then, powered support units are unloaded and moved to under box-type roofing. Placed between bed roof and cappings of powered support are pit props square to unit long side. After that, powered support units are loaded, and individual props are unloaded. As breakage face line advances, support units are moved under box-type roofing until caving row of powered support is proved to be under box-type roofing. Then, soft shell is unloaded and removed to face space. In this case, shell height in folded position is taken not above height of box-type roofing, and its length is taken from offered relationship. EFFECT: higher safety of work and reduced expenditures for elimination of consequences of rocks inrush into breakage face space. 7 dwg
