FIELD: mining; stands for experimental and research work involved in study of rock breaking process with use of mechanical and mechanical-and- hydraulic methods. SUBSTANCE: stand has frame with guides and clamping appliance with strain-gage dynamometer for installation of cutting tool; table with metal containers for location of rock blocks; feed hydraulic cylinders; supporting and thrust rollers. Additionally installed on clamping appliance is jet-forming device made in form of barrel provided with changeable nozzle. Barrel is installed for radial revolution and fixing in selected position relative to posts. Barrel inner diameter- nozzle hole diameter ratio exceeds 10, and length of cylindrical body of barrel accommodating damper equal, at least, two inner diameter of barrel. EFFECT: provided investigations of efficiency of combined action on rock mass of cutting tool and hydraulic jet. 5 dwg
