FIELD: household equipment. SUBSTANCE: drum unit has wedge-shaped members, front annular member and cover for drum. Part of wedge-shaped members faced toward front annular member or drum cover is adapted for engagement therewith and has edge manufactured before drum assembly. Edge is made in the form of wedge-shaped member wall bent inward in parallel with front annular member surface. Front annular member is provided with windows arranged near each wedge-shaped member. Window contour has deformed part adapted for reliable engagement with edge. Device for connecting annular member or cover with wedge-shaped members has wedge-shaped member part formed as edge projecting to the left outside cylindrical strip. Projecting edge is adapted for engagement with respective window of front annular member or drum cover to provide for fixing along window contour. Such construction allows wedge-shaped members to be mechanically connected directly to front annular member or cover without any welded seams, which are normally subjected to oxidation deteriorating sealing properties of connection.
