FIELD: recovery of spent nuclear fuel. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of aqueous solution of uranium, plutonium, and neptunium and their extraction by means of solvent. For reducing Np(V1) to NP(V) and/or for producing complex compound with Np(1V) use is made of formohydroxamic acid which is introduced in aqueous solution. The result is that all available neptunium remains in water phase during extraction by means of solvent. EFFECT: facilitated procedure and selectivity of neptunium reduction. 6 cl, 8 dwg
