FIELD: sanitary engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing, cover, funnel connected to biological decomposition chamber made in the form of truncated cone, electric heating members located in lower part of decomposition chamber between double walls, and electric drive connected to discharge unit shaft arranged axially of truncated cone. Decomposition chamber discharge opening made in small base of truncated cone is communicated with compost collecting container. Discharge unit has shaft carrying blades made in the form of disks equipped with outer edge extending in spiral coil path. Incomplete slot made in each disk is extending along line, which connects leading and tailing ends of spiral to disk center. Disk edges in the vicinity of recess are separated by angle α equal to 3-30 deg. Each subsequent disk fixed to shaft is turned relative to previous disk with respect to recess lines through angle β equal to 60-90 deg. Apparatus may be used in lavatories adapted to be filled with powdered biologically reprocessing substances such as peat etc. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
