FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has rigid base which length and width is greater than those of a victim, head part, means mounted on the base for fixing the victim and handles for lifting the stretcher. The base has conic shape becoming narrow when moving in the direction of legs. It is manufactured from flat piece of hydrophobic material. The head part is manufactured as a whole with the base and provided with means for fixing victim's head. Ribbon straps with self-check locks are used as the means for fixing the victim. The locks are composed of two plates having two slits. The straps are attached to the stretcher by winding a strap over a fixing member and passing the ribbon through the slits in the base. The handles are manufactured as fabric loops with curved tubes put in. EFFECT: simplified usage in emergency situations; simplified delivery to a required place in assembled state; enhanced effectiveness in transporting victims having traumas of any severity degree. 6 cl, 3 dwg
