FIELD: cleaning natural water and sewage from suspended particles and floating admixtures. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus has shell with flocculation and settling chambers coaxially arranged inside it; settling chamber is provided with thin-layer settling elements; apparatus is also provided with starting liquid supply system and clarified liquid, sediment and floating admixture discharge system. Apparatus is provided with additional partitions forming circular passage between them; one inner partition is extension of partition of flocculation chamber forming inner circular port together with bottom; outer partition adjoining bottom forms outlet circular port, thus intensifying cleaning due to increased flocculation chamber and recirculation of sediment.
