LIQUID CLARIFIER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2234357 C2

FIELD: water cleaning facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for cleaning source and sewage waters from suspensions and floating admixtures. Proposed clarifier contains housing, flocculation chamber and settling zone. The latter is provided with cleaning and after-cleaning chambers made in form of two concentric chambers. Liquid passes from cleaning chamber into after-cleaning chamber successively and radially which simplifies design owing to reduction of number of partitions between chambers and precluding formation of dead zones in flocculation chamber, this increases useful volume of said chamber and increases uniformly of flow distribution and improves quality of cleaning.

EFFECT: improved cleaning and clarifying of water.
