FIELD: mining and construction industry; pneumatic percussion devices for making holes in compact grounds, trenchless replacement of pipelines and percussive driving of pipes and other rod members into ground. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic percussion device has a body, step hammer in which at least one side longitudinal channel is made and opened into chamber of idle stroke and comes to side surface of tail step of hammer; air-distributing bushing embracing tail step of hammer and separating the chamber of working stroke into circular and end cavities interconnected by channel, longitudinal feed and exhaust main lines. Longitudinal main exhaust line is located in air-distributing bushing and directed to rear end of the device. EFFECT: increased striking power and field of application. 1 dwg
