FIELD: construction engineering; applicable in construction of tanks for storage of ecologically hazardous materials such as radioactive and toxic wastes and oil products located in seismic regions. SUBSTANCE: storage building consists of concentrically arranged toroidal vessels located inside tores of tanks confined by walls of toroidal vessels, cover and bottom. Walls, bottom and cover of storage building are made of prestressed reinforced concrete with internal and external metal casings. Internal casings of bottom and cover are conjugated with external casings of toroidal vessels, and external casings of bottom and cover are conjugated with external casing of toroidal vessel from outside of storage building. Laid in diametrical direction of storage building in cover, bottom and wall of external toroidal vessel are channel-forming devices through which prestressed reinforcement is passed and anchored to toroidal vessel casing from outside of storage building. Mounted with the help of hinges in center of storage building is prefabricated pipe-concrete supporting post with prestressed reinforcement passed through cover, post, bottom and foundation plate, and anchored to cover and foundation plate. EFFECT: increased seismic stability of storage building with optimal use of site area and reduced specific consumption of materials in storage building. 7 cl, 5 dwg
