FIELD: materials storing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of storage for ecologically dangerous materials in seismic countries with provision of enhanced reliability at earth-quakes by creating multibarrier structural efforts at rational use of areas and provision of additional reservoirs for storing materials. Storage consists of group of cylindrical reservoirs enclosed in torus-shaped steel reinforced concrete envelope with section height equal to 0.8-1.0 of reservoir height and divided into separate compartments by load-bearing stiffening diaphragms. Bracing members consisting of diametric metal ties connected in center of torus and arc-shaped metal ties embracing each reservoir are arranged inside torus at different levels in height of section. Ends of metal ties are secured in load-bearing cross diaphragms of torus-shaped envelope. Space between reservoirs and torus-shaped envelope is filled up with damping material, sand or clay- and-sand mixture. Earth bank is erected around torus-shaped envelope in height equal to height of envelope. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of storage. 3 dwg
