FIELD: systems for changing density of flux of transmitted energy due to varied (in direction of wave propagation) cross section area. SUBSTANCE: in waveguide acoustic transformer profile function is analytical along the whole length, continuously differentiated function with multiply changed curvature sign and it is defined by means of equation of equiline of field flux of wave vector in axial section of stepped waveguide acoustic transformer. Said equiline does not belong to boundary of above mentioned axial section. Selection of specific profile function is realized recursively due to maximization of dimensionless untrivial criterion: where K[1, K[1,∞] -] is coefficient of mechanical strain concentration in plane including coordinate with maximum value of strain εmax; m is transformation coefficient; M is transformation coefficient of stepped transformer with areas of inlet and outlet ends respectively equal to areas of inlet and outlet ends of selected transformer; εmax,0 - is maximum value of strain of transformer whose end areas are equal one to another and to area of less end of calculated transformer. EFFECT: increased transformation coefficient at enhanced resistance against mechanical breakage. 3 dwg
