FIELD: ultrasonic engineering; production of the acoustic transformers.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of ultrasonic techniques, in particular, to the acoustic waveguide transformers made in the form of the circular in the cross-section rods, the envelopes of the ring-shaped cross-section and the plates of the square or rectangular cross-section. The technical result of the invention is the decreased bending oscillations liability of the acoustic transformer at the simultaneously increased resiliency to the mechanical stress rupture. In the plainly-elastic oscillations (plane wave) acoustic transformer the profile boundaries are the curves symmetrical concerning the longitudinal axis presented by the equations of the stream lines in the field of wave vector inside the profile of the stepwise acoustic transformer. At that projections of these boundaries to the profile symmetry axis in all points coincide with the projections to there of the stepwise transformer profile boundaries, by the equations of the stream lines in the field of the wave vector of which they are presented. So, the transformer length is equal to the length of the stepwise transformer, that is minimum.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the decreased bending oscillations liability of the acoustic transformer at the simultaneously increased resiliency to the mechanical stress rupture.
