FIELD: determination of parameters of seams and description of fields. SUBSTANCE: initial earth model is formed on basis of actual measurements generated by logging instrument lowered into wellbore drilled in earth performing two-dimensional extrapolation modelling by initial earth model for finding intermediate earth model which includes set modelled responses of logging instrument. Modeled responses of logging instrument are compared with measurements for finding misalignment between them. Intermediate earth model is retained as final one if misalignment between modeled responses of receiver and measurements is tolerable. Unidimensional extrapolation modeling is repeated N times earth model if misalignment between modelled responses of measurements is not tolerable and accompanied by obtaining secondary earth model. Unidimensional reference is accessed to secondary earth model and then secondary model is retained as final model or repeated two-dimensional extrapolation modeling of secondary model is performed for subsequent comparison of misalignment. According to another version, said data are subjected to re-correction after N-fold unidimensional extrapolation modeling. According to next version, N-fold unidimensional extrapolation modeling is effected with the use of reference Table on basis of accumulated data of modeled responses of instrument. According to one more version, Reference Table is used for performing N-fold unidimensional reference. EFFECT: reduced time required for calculations; increased scope of data for description of seam being studied. 37 cl, 6 dwg
