SUBSTANCE: loop transmitter and receiver with a frame antenna are placed along a logging tool at a certain location on the surface, wherein the loop transmitter is separated from the receiver with a frame antenna. Receiver of the logging tool and the transmitter of the logging tool are activated, each forming part of the logging tool. Signals are transmitted using the loop transmitter and the transmitter of the logging tool. Signals are measured using the receiver with a frame antenna and the receiver of the logging tool. Measured signals are compared with the simulated signals. Configurations of the logging tool are determined based on said comparison. Logging tool is calibrated using the determined configuration.
