FIELD: radio engineering, space technology. SUBSTANCE: technical result lies in development of 24-hour communication system between the Moon and the Earth with minimal employment of lunar relay stations and satellites operating in shifts. According to procedure electromagnetic signal is transmitted into outer space from transmission station on the Earth. Electromagnetic signal is relayed from outer space and is received on the Earth. Relay station is located in area of at least one point of liberation of astronomical system the Earth-the Moon. Space communication system includes transmission station positioned on the Earth, relay station placed in outer space, receiving station situated on the Earth for reception of relayed signal.
