FIELD: X-ray equipment, applicable in production of means of examination in the field of radiology. SUBSTANCE: at examination of the object trains of calibration isoenergic pulses are preliminarily formed at different frequencies by variation of the bias voltage across the interelectrode grids and current in the tube, the object is irradiated by them, the image is displayed by luminescence glow at various wavelengths of the optical range, and the optimum frequency of radiation action is set from the comparison of the object transparency at different frequencies and deviation from the preset value of illuminance. The operating cycle is conducted at the optimum frequency with an automatic correction of the effect through the feedback of the X-ray formation system and control unit. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics due to optimization of the radiation parameters and reduction of the radiation load. 8 cl, 2 dwg
