FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves irradiating object under examination with X-ray radiation pulses of nanosecond duration scale, recording the passed-through radiation with optoelectronic transformer receiver and writing it on information carrier. Irradiation is carried out during 20-50 ns applying exposure dose equal to (1-5) $$$ roentgen/s. X-ray device of pulsed mode has high voltage unit, accumulating capacitor, choke, high performance switching unit, X-ray tube which anode is connected to the high voltage unit image processing unit with position-sensing member connected to computer and control unit. Accumulating capacitor and choke are connected in series and set between the first outlet of the high voltage unit and X-ray tube anode. The high performance switching unit inlet is connected to outlet of the first input of the control unit that is connected with its second inlet to the high voltage unit, with its third outlet to the image processing unit, with its fourth outlet to the computer. Grounded semiconductor release composed of high voltage diodes having operating frequency exceeding 20 kHz is connected to anode. Choke inductance is within the limits of 6 to 21 MH. Accumulating capacitor capacity is from 900 to 2000 pF. The position-sensing detector is based on photosensitive matrix system. The high voltage unit has current-limiting resistor and high voltage transducer connected to high voltage power supply source. EFFECT: enhanced information capacity of pictures. 6 cl, 1 dwg
