FIELD: food industry, particularly, production of biologically active food additive. SUBSTANCE: proposed biologically active additive is a hydrolyzate from meat of mollusks containing polyunsaturated fat acids ω-3 and ω-6 not less 45% of fat acids amount, and lipids, not less 0.8%. Mass part of dry substances in the additive is 25-40%. The method involves acid hydrolysis of mollusks meat up to content of amine nitrogen of 0.8-1.9%. Then mass is neutralized and steamed up to density of not more 1.3 g/cu.cm. After it, mass is aged for 6-8 days and again neutralized up to pH equal to 5.5-6.0. The hydrolyzate is heated up to temperature of 60-80 C and residue is separated. The additive possesses general-strengthening, radioprotective and hemostimulating action. EFFECT: broadened assortment of biologically active additives from sea invertebrate hydrobionts. 3 cl, 2 tbl
