FIELD: fish industry, particularly, processing of wastes of dressing sea hydrobionts for production of biologically active food additives. SUBSTANCE: biologically active food additive is a hydrolysate from dressing of sea scallop wastes. Also is proposed a method of preparation of biologically active additive by the way of acid hydrolysis of wastes of sea scallop wastes. After hydrolysis, neutralization and boiling of mass are conducted. Then cooling and repeated neutralization are carried out. Prepared hydrolysate is separated from sediment. EFFECT: broadened assortment of biologically active additives due to using of new raw materials; rational using of raw material - sea scallop. 2 cl, 4 tbl, 2 ex
