SUBSTANCE: method involves making Z-shaped incisions along the skin fold edge on the same side with the ungual phalanx, carrying out arthrodesis in interphalangeal articulation by setting the ungual phalanx in functional position with respect to the main one. Then, the metacarpal bone is subjected to wedge-like osteotomy under the head with wedge angle being equal to the angle of the base phalanx deflection from the first metacarpal bone axis.
