SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing made in the form of bed and including pipeline and locking fittings for supplying sewage sludge, filtering partition walls made in the form of nonwoven hydrophobic polymeric bags. Filtering partition wall is additionally equipped with bag of polymeric hydrophobic large-mesh material. Insert positioned inside additional bag is made in the form of cartridge manufactured from hydrophilic porous material. Perforated tube is located centrally of insert along its vertical axis. EFFECT: improved quality of filtrate, simplified recovering of dehydrated sludge, reduced production costs by repeated employment of filtering partition wall. 2 dwg
