FIELD: manufacture of mining machines; applicable in designs of mining machines. SUBSTANCE: actuating member of mining machine includes cutter holder located on crown. Cutter holder has longitudinal holes, one of which receives for axial motion, of cutter with cylindrical holder and head made in the form of right truncated circular cone whose large diameter is larger than that of holder; another hole located in cutter holder above longitudinal axis if cutter and forming chamber for water, accommodates mechanism for regulation of fluid flow and having valve with head, nut, spring and injector and also water supplying channels. Injector has a seat for the valve head. Said design allows valve to be near to zone of fluid discharge to breakage face. Injector together with the valve head is located in the same chamber and are engageable with each other. Such design makes fluid discharge instantaneous as fluid is located in zone of injector and valve to reduce time of fluid flowing from valve to injector. Injector is movably installed along axis of hole in which it is located for engagement with cutter head during operating of actuating member. Said condition provides for operation of valve and passage of fluid to injector. Valve is fixed in the cutter holder. Said technical solution makes it possible after operation of a dust suppressor to shut off fluid from injector due to tight fit of the seat movable injector on head of immovable valve. EFFECT: higher efficiency of dust suppression and spark quenching at low pressures of supplied fluid. 2 dwg
