FIELD: design and operation of dynamically balanced rigid rotors including instantly unbalanced functional members. SUBSTANCE: balancing member whose outer butts are oblique and lie in parallel planes deviated from plane parallel to rotation axis by angle opposite in sign to inclination angle of face surfaces of instantly unbalanced member is employed. Values of geometrical parameters of rotor are determined at stage of design with use of proposed rated dependencies making it possible to secure instant balancing of rotor and to obtain central sphere of inertia of its distributed masses. For case of reduction of radius of outer surface of instantly unbalanced member, for instance, due to wearout, there is proposed discrete correction of instant balancing of rotor by way of substitution of initial balanced member with new one whose dimensions are found on basis of obtained rated dependencies.
